My name is Maureen, I am a wife to my husband David, a mother to three spirited little boys, and a dog mom to a sweet black and tan coonhound. I work full time outside the home as a plant buyer for a chain of retail garden centers in Ohio and I absolutely adore the creative work that I am able to do every day through working with florists, interior plantscapers, and the creative superstars employed at the company’s retail stores to make every customer’s houseplant dream come true.
The other 120 hours a week, I really get down to business. I buy second hand items and resell them online. I am an amateur homesteader (not sure how I get professional status on this one- but I am sure trying), and I grow vegetables and cut flowers to sell at the local farmer’s market and make jams and jellies out of fresh seasonal fruits. I knit scarves and dish towels in the winter and make old fashioned caramels and fudges for Christmas.
